Mid eighties the kennel "from Askeaton" came into existance by purchasing our first dog Kerry Kay the Roses of Tralee.  He was frequently brought to exhibitions through which the "settervius" came about.
About 1988 a bitch was introduced, Chestnut Lola. She can be viewed as the ancestress of our kennel.

Chestnut Lola has had serveral litters. Her offspring knows a lot of good showdogs (Cimble from Askeaton en Duncan from Askeaton). Through the years several dogs were introduced in the kennel, with that the national and international succes grew.

In 1995 Reddins Jancis came from England to The Netherlands, folowed by the dog Strathmead Stormbird in 1997. These two dogs can be viewed as the ancestresses of the new generation of "From-Askeaton"-dogs. Several years later Dubliner Honeymoon of the Dubliner-kennel from Sweden was imported to the Netherlands.

Of course we hope for national and international succes in the (nearby) future with our dogs.
